Bruce says: “I work with people all around the world who want to help people helping people. My team is made up of data scientists -- people who find patterns and interesting information in data, and then create computer programs to help everyone understand how to work together better.
“We work on all types of causes - helping with access to water, making sure food banks can distribute food, finding what support people need to graduate college, figuring out how medicine can get to people in their homes more quickly, keeping kids in safe homes, and more. I like my job because I get to help people use their technical expertise to solve big problems and strengthen communities.”
Bruce attributes her values to her parents, who always taught her and her sisters to “look around and see if there were ways for [her] to help people.”
Educational Pathway: Bruce studied computer engineering in undergrad and business in grad school.
