JASMINE L. SADLER, MBA
STEAM EDUCATION ENTREPRENEUR
IF/THEN Series
The Dancing Rocket Scientist! A classically trained ballet dancer and Aerospace Engineer, that's Jasmine L. Sadler, MBA. Her knowledge helped her turn air into energy in her career as a Software Design Engineer, Test Engineer and Quality Engineer.
Sadler combines her love of dance and art with her love for STEM as the CEO of The STEAM Collaborative, which helps children explore STEM from an artistic perspective. She takes her ballet dancing to schools then explains how physics and math can solve problems, so cool!
Sadler was inspired to pursue Aerospace Engineering as a way to save lives after seeing the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
When Sadler was the only Black engineer and female engineer at work, she decided to start The STEAM Collaborative to engineer a solution to the lack of diverse students pursuing STEAM.
Educational Pathway: Jasmine studied Aerospace Engineering with a math minor. She went to graduate school for Business and Entrepreneurship.
Name Pronunciation: Hear the correct pronunciation of Sadler’s name in her IF/THEN Ambassador videos.
