Grid Art

Grid art is a fun way to build spatial and mathematical skills (and a great activity for early finishers!)

The designs here were created with grades K-3 in mind but can be enjoyed by all ages.

This activity addresses the directive from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics that students should: "Specify locations and describe spatial relationships using coordinate geometry and other representational systems."
