Dr. Chawne Kimber
Mathematician
As a mathematician and professor, Dr. Chawne Kimber’s job is to “discover new mathematical truths and teach the well-known ones.”
In her words, her job “involves using my imagination to ask questions about the world and try to clearly explain the answers. The best part of my job is working with students to help them not only learn math, but also grow into responsible global citizens.”
Dr. Kimber is also a well-known quilter and activist.
